Composer-in-residence at Festival d’Autan

Download the full program here. Festival d’Autan’s 11th edition continues its journey across Occitanie, presenting a diverse programme that brings together repertoire and new music.

This year’s edition features composer-in-residence Justina Repečkaitė alongside a range of distinguished artists, with a focus on dialogue between styles, periods, and forms. The festival highlights both major works and contemporary creation through performances in a variety of venues, from intimate settings to larger-scale productions.

On 7 July, a meeting with the composer-in-residence and other artists will be held in Albi.

On 16th July, Quatuor Adastra will premiere a new Repečkaitė’s composition, commission by the festival, Plaisance.

Justina Repečkaitė is a composer-in-residence at Festival d’Autan 2026 in Occitanie, France.

On 11–12 July, Euroccitanie chamber orchestra will give a French premiere of Repečkaitė’s Chartres (2012) alongside a new composition commissioned by the festival.

On 15th July, Wilhem Latchoumia will perform Justina’s composition for solo piano at Musée Toulouse-Lautrec, Albi.

On 19th July, Quatuor Adastra will premiere a new Repečkaitė’s composition, commission by the festival, Baraqueville.
