Masterclass at CRR de Boulogne-Billancourt
On 16 March 2026, Justina Repečkaitė will give a composition masterclass at the Conservatoire of Boulogne-Billancourt, near Paris, for Jean-Luc Hervé’s composition class. More information here:
“Justina Repečkaitė (Lithuania, born in 1989) is a composer based in Paris. She studied in both Lithuania and France, where she discovered her passion for the culture of the Late Middle Ages, a profound influence on her compositional language. She has been artist-in-residence at the Fondation Singer-Polignac and with the ensemble Le Balcon, and has been supported by the Centre international Nadia et Lili Boulanger. Since 2015, she has been a member of the Lithuanian Composers’ Union, which awarded her the “Newcomer of the Year” prize. Her music has represented Lithuania at the World Music Days and the International Rostrum of Composers, and she has received commissions from institutions including Radio France and the Fondation Royaumont.”
Justina Repečkaitė (Lituanie, née en 1989) est compositrice et réside à Paris. Elle a fait ses études à la fois en en Lituanie et en France où elle a découvert sa passion pour la culture du Bas Moyen Âge qui influence profondément son écriture. Elle a été artiste en résidence à la Fondation Singer-Polignac ainsi qu’avec l’ensemble Le Balcon et a bénéficié d’une bourse du Centre international Nadia et Lili Boulanger. Depuis 2015, elle est membre de l’Union des compositeurs de Lituanie qui lui a attribué le prix « révélation de l’année ». Sa musique représente la Lituanie au World Music Days et à l’International Rostrum of Composers. Elle a reçu des commandes notamment de Radio France et de la Fondation Royaumont.
