Millefleur at Naxos Hallenkonzerte
The Ensemble for New Music Tallinn, conducted by Arash Yazdani, performed Millefleur (2025) once again at NAXOS Hallenkonzerte, Frankfurt on 🗓 23th November 2025.
The programme, featuring the torupill performer Katariin Raska, also included works by William Dougherty, Arash Yazdani, Liisa Hirsch, and Klaus Lang.
Millefleur was commissioned by Lithuanian National Radio and Television and received its premiere on October 17 2025 at the Energy and Technology Museum in Vilnius, as part of the Baltic Music Days 2025 - Music Autumn (Muzikos Ruduo) festival.
The Ensemble for New Music Tallinn has frequently performed Repečkaitė’s music since the first edition of the Baltic Music Days in Tallinn in 2021. In 2025, the ensemble was awarded the Siemens Music Prize, recognising its sustained commitment to contemporary music and its exceptional artistic work.

The Ensemble for New Music Tallinn has been responsible for the world premieres of compositions by composers such as Georg Friedrich Haas, Klaus Lang, Dror Feiler, Dimitri Kourliandsky, Gérard Pape, Yair Klartag, William Dougherty, Samuel Cedillo, Helena Tulve, Liisa Hirsch, Justina Repečkaitė, Żaneta Rydzewska, Toivo Tulev, Marc Sabat, Arash Yazdani, Hugo Morales Murguia, among others. The ensemble has performed at several festivals and venues, including ORF Musikprotokoll Graz, Schausspielhaus Hannover, Ostrava New Music Days, Warsaw Autumn Festival, Ars Musica Brussels, Musiikkitalo Helsinki, Unerhörte Musik Berlin, and more.”
