Premiere at Baltic Music Days 2025, Vilnius

Justina Repečkaitė has received a commission from Lithuanian National Radio and Television to compose a new work for the Ensemble for New Music Tallinn, conducted by Arash Yazdani. The piece will be premiered on October 17, 2025, in Vilnius, during the Baltic Music Days 2025 - Music Autumn (Muzikos Ruduo) festival.

This commission continues a longstanding collaboration between Baltic Music Days, Ensemble for New Music Tallinn (ENMT), and Repečkaitė. Her music was first performed by ENMT during the inaugural edition of Baltic Music Days in 2021 in Tallinn, followed by a performance in Kaunas in 2022. The ensemble has also presented her works at MusicOlomouc 2021 in the Czech Republic, MARCO Museum of Contemporary Art 2022 in Spain, and Ars Musica 2022 in Belgium. In addition, Ensemble for New Music Tallinn, under the baton of Arash Yazdani, has recorded her piece Tappiserie (2025) for her upcoming album Tapestries, to be released by the Music Information Centre Lithuania.
